I'm not really what you'd call a collector, although I do own a number of slider rules. The reason I buy them is to use them. I always have a slide rule on hand; full-sized at the desk and pocket rules on the go!

Some people might think that's a bit strange. I don't own a calculator and I have no desire to buy one, so I'll just continue along with my trusty slide rules.
