It's just as easy to find the square root of a number too; all we do is reverse what we were doing to find the square of a number.

To do this we find the number we what to find the square root of on the A scale and read its square root on the D scale!  Again, we'll start off with an easy one ...

1. Move the cursor to 25 on the A scale.
2. Now read the answer from the D scale ... 5!
